The Pennsylvania Supreme Court on November 18, 2009 granted allowance of appeal to determine whether the "regular use" exclusion to UIM automobile coverage is valid where the insured is a police officer who was injured in the course of his employment while driving a police vehicle for which vehicle he could not have obtained UIM coverage. The Superior Court affirmed a Lawrence County decision upholding the exclusion.
