PA Civil Procedural Rule changes

Effective June 1, 2007, the Pennsylvania Rules of Civil Procedure will officially recognize a "cross-claim" against other parties to the case, and the joinder of an additional defendant will be limited to those prospective defendants who are not already parties. In addition the additional defendant Rules will be expanded to allow joinder of additional defendants by plaintiffs, and to allow time for original defendants to have their preliminary objections resolved before the time for their joinder of additional defendants begins.
